Veterans at the Cenotaph at Nelson and Imperial today, November 11 at 11:00 am.

past and current Veterans... Lest We Forget

Our Ladies Auxiliary donated $1,000 to the Children of the Street. From left to right:
Merilyn Smith, Maura Fitzpatrick, Fund Development Specialist of the Children of the Street,
Dianne Barnes and Lil Smith. They also donated $500 to the Burnaby Firefighters - Burn Fund.
The meat draws are how they make their money to donate to these worthy organizations.

On December 6, 2019 at 10 00 am at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Burnaby,
there was a ceremony unveiling a new Memorial Garden honouring those
who served Canada in conflict and peace --
spearheaded by Major – Retired Gino Simeoni from the Last Post Fund.
Veterans Affairs, the Burnaby Firefighters, RCMP were all there to celebrate the unveiling.
83's support of the Spartans Soccer Team.
The Spartans won 3rd place in the BC Provincials earlier this year.
